Dear Craig,

As per queries to Tony Foreshew the following applies:


1.       At this time a proposed budget for the BMC has been prepared but has not been adopted at an AGM as of yet.

2.       The financial year for the BMC commenced 01/03/2012.

3.       The elected committee members representing SP 67851 is Rob Willett and representing SP 67850 is Andrew Veron.

4.       The quote that has been obtained by the Owners Corporation is to review the percentage breakdown that each Strata Plan pays the BMC to cover shared costs for the building.  Attached is the proposed budget for the BMC.

Several questions:


1.       Would you please advise when the BMC budget will be completed by (approximately).

2.       When does the financial year for the BMC commence?

3.       Who makes up the committee for the BMC?

4.       Maxine has sent me and the other EC members a quote to have the percentage breakdown between the BMC and the residential side of Marquis reviewed.  I am particularly interested in receiving a line-by-line percentage breakdown of each expense items.  Are you able to provide me, via email, a current breakdown (for the y/e Feb 12).  That would be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon Craig

As per discussion this afternoon, I have had a talk with Maxine, and the BMC budget is currently in draft format at the moment, as such I am unable to provide you with the final version.

Maxine is working with Rob Willet to finalise the BMC budget and will have circulated to the committee members prior to the holding of the BMC meeting to adopt the budget for the forthcoming year.

The budget that will be circulated will outline the shared facilities as well as the percentage break-down to the residential tower and commercial stratum lot.

Maxine is waiting a call back from Rob to discuss the BMC budget, and information pertaining to same will be circulated to the committee in due course.
