Yes there would be regulatory requirements and you are correct its going 
to be more expensive. How long have the existing doors lasted do you 
know. If the answers 8 years then perhaps there's no cost benefit here.

It's a fairly easy solution. We just need to keep the blinking obscured 
from the apartments above and as you say a cage around it for security. 
I will have a look around tomorrow and see if i can find a proposed 
place and make a bit of a better submission I think from memory there is 
power around that area.
